The bedroom suite features a Queen Bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress, a leather sofa for relaxing, and a royal bathroom with a grand oversized hand-hammered copper bathtub complete with a rainfall shower head.
Guests staying in The Royal Bedroom will also have private access to The Great Hall in the heart or center of the castle, plus the outside upper terrace with the most spectacular view in the world!

Guest Access
The Royal Bedroom package gives guests access to The Great Hall and the most impressive rooms in the castle.
Guests will enter Highlands Castle through the main front door entrance into the main foyer. The vestibule area features a grand curved staircase plus a set of 4 antique Romeo & Juliet stained glass doors that lead into The Great Hall located in the heart or center of the castle. The Great Hall features 25-foot tall vaulted ceilings and 21-windows overlooking beautiful Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains. This grand room is a special place to relax and spend time with your loved one. Guests will also have access to the outside upper terrace with the most spectacular view in the world!
The Local Area
The Royal Bedroom in Highlands Castle is a hidden jewel in a private setting, yet we're only 3-minutes from the lake and downtown Bolton Landing, restaurants, brewery, wine store, unique shops, ice cream parlor, antiques, tennis, golf, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, public beaches, boat rentals, scenic boat cruises, and more!

Host Space
The hosts/owners and their two friendly German Shepherds live in a separate area of the castle.
John & Yvonne live in their area of the castle (family room, kitchen, upstairs bedroom) which guests do not have access to. Your privacy will always be respected. Owners are available (via phone, text, email, or in person) if there's anything you need during your stay.
