Guest Access
Guests will have access to the most impressive spaces of Highlands Castle including a private entrance, foyer entryway, vestibule area, upstairs bedroom suite, downstairs bedroom suite, and the Great Hall. 'The Great Hall' is the perfect space to relax with your loved ones and features 25' high vaulted ceilings plus 21-windows overlooking Lake George. It's furnished with 2 large sofas plus a grand-sized antique table & chairs.
Outdoor: Private outdoor lakeview terraces, covered terrace, patio furniture, table & chairs.
The Local Area
Highlands Castle is a hidden jewel in a private setting, yet only 3-minutes from the lake and downtown Bolton Landing with conveniences of a supermarket, gourmet restaurants, brewery, wine store, unique shops, ice cream parlor, antiques, tennis, golf, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, public beaches, boat rentals, scenic boat cruises, and more!
Host Space
The owners and their 2 German Shepherds live in a separate section of Highlands Castle.
John & Yvonne live in their section of the castle (family room, kitchen, and upstairs bedroom) which guests do not have access to.
Your privacy will always be respected, but please know owners are available (via phone, text, email, or in person) if there's anything you need during your stay.
