'Ex Malo Bonum'. Out of bad comes good.
One of my favorite movie quotes comes from Field of Dreams: "If you build it, they will come".
In 2010, my son volunteered to build a website about our home, and once it went live, people from every corner of the world began arriving.
And somewhere in all of it, I would find something, too... A sense of purpose.
When I think back to my words, "Someday I will build you a castle", I see how good things come out of bad experiences.
And someway, somehow, there was a plan and a purpose for all of it. I believe it wasn't just my plan.
If you believe in dreams enough, then they'll believe in you.
“The heart of man plans his way,
but the Lord establishes his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)
When I was young, I thought I could face any situation that might arise... all by myself.
In 1979, I was shown what it means to replace confidence with humility, which depends not on itelf.
I'm humbled to play a part, the dreamer, in this 'Story', alongside His guiding force, which makes it 'OUR STORY'. JALII
